I once had an 8 track of Johnny with the song "The first time ever I saw your face". I totally wore it out and have looked for a cassete of that song ever since with no luck. Does anyone out there have any idea where I might find??

Type it into a search on Ask.com.
Also try local music stores & anywhere else the musically inclined tend to gather. If there is a bulletin board, you could post this as a "wanted" item.
Good luck, that man has the most incredible voice & songs...

I found out that it was in 1972 when he came out with "First Time Ever" on Columbia Records. If you want the CD, you can go do to one of the local stores and ask them to order it for you, or you can buy it on line. Several online music stores has it in their catalog. For CD universe -
