I happen to be religous but that never crossed my mind in this question.I just wonder how hard it is to see the big picture for us and for political leaders through the issues of the day,the hypes the media creates, the wanting to make your side look good,no matter what that side is

I think a lot of try to see the big picture, but either get frighten by what they see, or they are not even sure if that is truly how every thing is

Peace be with you

Sometimes I think the best way to see the big picture is to turn off the TV and read some books.

Remember, the big picture looks different depending on where you stand.

If you are comfortable with the tenets of your political beliefs, you can keep the big picture in focus. We filter everything through our world-view.

When I think of the "big picture" it brings to mind the loudest, most compellingly annoying and most distracting sources of the hubbub of the day. Some days, it's hard to ignore the buzz.

But I think what you're referring to is better described as the "little picture". It's the underlying, but often imperceptible, sense of purpose in our lives that ought never be ignored.

I guess we need to turn down the volume on our lives from time to time and listen to the quiet, simple, little things that speak to us.

Mmm I think they do see the big picture. They see the big picture as they want it to be and come hell or high water they will do whatever it takes to make happen.
Yahoo Answers however is a different thing entirely.

Everyone might be concentrating on earning points but cannot see what are the messages being projected on the questions and answers of participants.

Why don't you enlighten us as to what we should be concerned with.
Besides religion that is....which is what I think you are getting at.
