Well first you need to find out if there is a slight chance that he feel the same way. If you want to save face and not be so direct and come right out and ask him you can you do a little subtle flirting...things like holding a glance just short of a stare...or holding a goodbye hug just a little longer (but not to long). But, I suggest trying to get as comfortable as possible with each other and simply ask him questions that hint on your feelings....this way you cud get across what u want but still being cautious. I've been with my guy for a little over a year now and before we "hooked" up, we were friends for about a year.

if u guys are alone one day look him straight in the eye and say his name and say i know we are friends but the thing is ive grown on you and i love you...see what happens...if he says it back maybe he will kiss you..but if he says something like but we are only friends then that really blows, but atleast would know if u can go for him or if u need to move on...good luck!

talk to him to find out how he feels when he looks at u. if there's something to do with positive feelings, ur in the zone. but, u have to ask him whether those feelings show that he likes u as a friend or more.

if you dont know him as much as youd like to, get to know him better. find out what he looks for in a girl. just get to know his favorites and hobbies and stuff. and if theres something he likes to do, that you like to do too, set something up and have fun together. good luck.
+ when it comes to that time that you think is right. let him know your feelings for him. but only if youve felt a closeness between you two.

well in order to make someone more than a friend you have to have communication and trust..... if you have that you should just ask him if he wants to be more than friends..... ask him if he ever thought of u as a girl friend before
