Why Did Mischa Barton leave the OC???

Did she want to leave or did the producers choose for her to leave? anyone know the real reason?

She left to make movies and she felt that there was nothing left for Marissa to go through on the show. I agree with that but good luck with the movie career.

Isn't the OC cancelled anyway? maybe it was a bad idea, she reminds me of Paris Hilton now, she is always going to these hollywood parties and they have the same type of body
