alcohol, ghb, opium, any opiate/opioid based painkillers...all of them will reduce shyness.

also try stimulants, E (3,4,methylenedioxymethamphetamine) will create feelings of love and understanding of others, snow (cocaine) will cause you to feel so good you want to strike up a conversation no matter what, same with shardz (methamphetamine).

even large amounts of coffee can increase your talkitivity and reduce shyness.

All relaxants reduce shyness to some degree, usually very little. Alcohol does the best as far as around the house goes but not advised for simple reasons. Sex takes your mind off things for a while. Best is really to force yourself into the situation that makes you shy over and over. This will make you less shy the more you practice it.

No. People often use alcohol to reduce inhibitions, but it also impairs your judgement and you risk making bad choices. I recommend working on your shyness without medicine, chemicals, or alcohol. There are lots of sources of information out there about boosting self esteem and overcoming anxiety by practicing the things that make you nervous in a small, controlled way. You can start out small by saying hi to someone next to you in line at a store. If it's a specialty store like a coffee shop or bookstore, then you at least have the liking of coffee or the kind of book you like in common and you're sure to get a positive response. Do that enough times until you're comfortable with it and then take it up a notch. Strike up a small conversation. Just stand near someone who makes you nervous (in a good way, like someone you find attractive. Never with someone who makes you nervous because you feel he's dangerous.) Just keep building on those actions. You'll overcome your shyness without chemicals and you'll feel that much better about yourself because you did it all by yourself. Good luck!

Whoa, big fellow. BIG question - alcohol is a major relaxant. For some it creates MEGA Party animal and for others it sends them into an almost catatonic state. Pills are not much different. Some reduce anxiety so that you can enjoy a situation. Others allow you to endure a situation. Relaxants are different from stimulants.

The best way to reduce shyness, is to face your fears. Whatever you're shy about, face it, find out that after all.. you'll still be okay, and that you're a great person no matter who you are, and that you deserve to be liked, and loved and that ITS ALL GOOD! so just go for it, be yourself and have fun.
