Uhmm.. 3 hours!!!!

This is one of the most iconic cities in the world. It's insulting to even mention 3 hours.

However, if you have 3 hours.. a drive down Lake Shore Drive.. to view the fabulous skyline against the lake. Chicago ranks #2 as having the world's best skyline after Hong Kong.

Welcome to our city!

Take the el train from whatever airport you're at to downtown Chicago. Catch one of the sightseeing buses across the street from the Art Institute (near Adams and Michigan Av.). You don't mention which airport you're arriving at. If it's Midway, take the orange line; if it's O'hare, you're be on the blue line. Either way, both stop in downtown Chicago and take about an hour each to get there and back. In fact, riding the trains will be a little like sightseeing right there....

Chicago's nickname as "The Windy City" very cold this month. For 3 hrs you can go to downtown by train from airport. You can walk around and see John Hancock Building, Hancock Observatory , Water Tower Shopping Center

Take the EL. You'll see a lot of the city that way. Don't forget to get some pizza. Greektown is the best area for that.
