Well, I have the same problem, as a matter of fact, a lot of us has the same problem, it can be caused by this:
the store alarm is working on magnetism, and for some reason, every once in a while it goes off. it could be because it didnt scan properly, (you are walking too quick) or it could be the detector's problem. Usually store owners will tell you to go straight ahead. I can not explain to you the scientific part, but i hope it will give some assurance that you are not the only one. I get beeped once a week. As long as it is not EVERYTIME you go into a store and it beeps, it is okay. Nothing wrong.

Those detectors usually go bunker when some item has not been paid and the tag has not been demagnetized. Of course it would not go off when going in because the item wouldn't be with you. Try having someone from the store go through with it before you do so you will be reassured there is nothing wrong in your body.
Try it to have peace of mind!

Try walking through in nothing but a pair of scrubs (with no metan in them) or sweats (with no metal in them). No jewelry on, no purse on your shoulder, no keys, nothing on your body atv all but sox, metal free bottoms, and metal free top. No bra or under wear either. No glasses on your face. Take ofwedding ring.
If you walk through it dressed as described and it still goes off, you should call ripleys believe it or not. Surely there is a way to make some money with such a freeek gift.

I would complain to the manager every time it happens. I find it humiliating and insulting when the alarms go off for no reason. Just because of a few thugs these stores treat everyone like they are thieves. Stop doing business at these stores.

Wow, that's an incredible phenomenon.
Even when you go through it naked?
I've never met anybody like it.
You must have a very magnetic body and personality.
I guess you're pretty famous with the security.
Have fun Christmas shopping and have a Merry Christmas!

those systems pick up magnetic frequencies if I'm not mistaken...you have some small...maybe minute magnet on you somewhere...remember that metal can become magnetized just by coming in contact w/ a magnet...maybe it's a cell phone...maybe something as simple as a cigarette lighter..

sometimes during surgery doctors will accedentally leave their tools in you even thought they are supposed to check. But the chances of a tool causing that is highly unlikely

Unless you are able to go through one naked then you won't know...you might not think your belt or certain jewelry, or a barrette would cause a difference but it can.
