I just dumped Time Warner due to their overpriced monopoly service here in SoCal. I'm not too keen on signing up for a contract with direct tv or dish. So my question is that is there any other options for cable TV and internet for me? DSL?

Do they have Comcast in your area? It's a good service here in the South, I recomend them.

well then you're SOL.
dish network
or direct tv for tv
and time warner for cable internet.
anything else, you're being overcharged.
