Maybe we should put pics of deceased infants found in garbage disposals because the mother didn't want the baby.

And the title of the picture should say "Pro-Life people see what you've done!"
or
"Pro-lifers are hypocrites" or something like that....

or another possible title should say "See pro-lifers, the mother didn't have an abortion. Look where the baby ended up!"

And how many people adopt black babies? Are black babies high in demand? No, they end up in orphanages.
And if they do go to a foster home or they really get adopted, how do you know they will go to a loving nurturing home? And this also applies to all babies of all ethnicities, as well as babies with birth defects or health problems.

I have no idea but it makes me sick! I agree with you about the dumpster babies. What would pro-lifers rather have? Someone get a legal abortion or carry a baby to term to then truly murder the baby by dumping it? YEs they say what about adoption, well lets face, people just arent that smart to think about adoption apparently.

Abortion pics help people to actually see how horrific an abortion is to the unborn. It's done for the same reason that many states now require pregnant mothers who want abortions to have an ultrasound first: 75 to 80% of them change their minds once they see that what they were told was a 'blob' of cells at 6 weeks really has fingers and toes and already looks and moves like a baby.
By 8 weeks, embryos can feel pain and a motion to provide an embryo about to be aborted with a painkilling agent was voted down in the senate this week. How cruel is that?
I think that babies in trash cans are a tragedy as well, but I don't think they're justification for killing babies in utero, What kind of logic is that, anyway?
I do agree that there are some instances that may warrant an abortion (being pregnant with your father's or brother's child for example). But I do not believe in abortions as 'afterthought contraception'.
To the asker of this question: There are risks in all of life. The only way to avoid risk is death. That being said, I would rather risk that an adopted child went to a good home (which really is the rule...a bad home would be the exception since adoption agencies use such stringent background checks and interview processes) than take a child's chance away by killing it. Once again, you've displayed your convoluted logic (as per your garbage-disposal-babies scenario) to justify a brutal act that makes tons of money for abortion doctors and democrats alike.

To scare the ignorant and play on emotions. The interesting thing is that most of these abortion pictures on the internet are fake! If someone is pro-choice, they already know this and find it annoying. If someone is not familiar with abortion or the debate, the lies might sway them into becoming pro-life. The majority of pro-life websites are a virus that spews hatred at anyone who comes into contact with it. If it's not hatred for the people who have had abortions, it's hatred to those who don't know any better by promoting ignorance.
I do think that the "OMGZ ABORTION IS DANGEROUS! IF YOU HAVE AN ABORTION YOU'LL GET POST ABORTION SYNDROME OR DIE!" argument is really funny though, considering that full term pregnancy and labour is at least 10 times more likely to kill you and even more likely to cause post partum depression or an onset of mental illness than abortion. While it amuses me. It also makes me upset because it's ignorance. It hurts women who need abortions as well as women who have had abortions. People deserve the facts and not everyone is able to think passed the cheap rhetoric. If you want to argue the morality, go for it, but do it in a factual and logical way. The lies and dumb arguments of the pro-life movement only make them look bad to those of us who are smart enough to know better. It's so sad that people are still debating abortion like this.

Actually some of those photos aren't photos of abortions...some of them are photos of stillborn chimps that have been distorted and labed "aborted fetus" by the pro lifer websites. Some are photos of miscarriages. It is for the emotional effect. They figure that if they show people how horrible an abortion "looks" those who do abort will feel guilty and regret their decision...I had an abortion 31 years ago...I've yet to feel any guilt or regret over it. I DO regret being gullible enough to put myself into the position of being with someone who would make it necessary for me to make that decision but I don't regret making the decision itself. It kept me alive and enabled me to move on and have my daughter 11 years later.

Because they want to stop people from murdering babies. There is nothing better or at all different about a mother aborting her unorn child from throwing one she gave birth to in a dumpster. It's only a matter of a month of so. Aborted babies are still babies, and they end up in dumpsters too. Abortion is disgusting, barbaric, a massive health risk to the mother, and evil, and it is murder just the same as if the child had already been born.

why do we put abortion pics on the internet, well gee maybe its because u don't want to admit its a baby but after looking at the pics u can't help but know its a human baby. and the mothers that kill their child after its born has nothing to do with abortion, that was just a pathetic attempt. and besides that do your research, before abortion was legal there weren't nearly as many mothers killing their children and throwing them away in dumpsters either.

Actually, that's exactly why. They hope that the pictures of the former fetuses will touch our "cold, cold hearts" and convert us.
Truth is, it's not anything we don't know. And, the thing they're doing is actually furthering the post traumatic stress disorder that most post-abortive women feel. They're making things FAR worse than better.
The pen is mightier than the sword, and those pictures are metaphorical swords. If they want to win us over, they should use logic and respect. (The pro-choicers won over my former pro-life self that way.)

To try and use fear and guilt to get their point across. I wish these people would spend their time adopting unwanted children rather than working so hard to create more by vehemently attacking those who seek abortion as an option.
