If you saw your child hitting his brother, would you stop him and then tell him that you'll only be watching him for the next 15 minutes, after which he'll be unsupervised? Do you think that after 15 minutes the bully is going to go find something else to do? Of course not, he's gonna go back to beating up his brother.

To withdraw from Iraq without winning the cause would be a slap in the face to those who died for the freedom and democracy of the Iraqi people. My neighbors are from Iraq and while they want peace in their home country, they know Saddam was bad and that the religious battles will be hard to settle.

I'm still waiting for the withdrawal timetable for Germany, Japan, South Korea. What? 50, 60 years now on those? What is the exit strategy for those countries?

There have been five or six timetables already. One more won't make a difference.

When you're looking at removing those kinds of troops, their equipment, etc., it requires removal in stages. That kind of troop movement requires time.
