ignoring your grammar, but answering your question: the states are not split; they are, as the name implies, "United" states. That is to say they were originally 13 colonies, started by different religious groups and nations, later united under British rule, and which declared their independence from such rule due to intolerable conditions which are listed in the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution provided that this nation would remain a confederation of INDIVIDUAL states, and that any laws not specifically called out in the constitution would remain at the state level. It has only been the constant growth of the central (federal) government in the past 200+ years that could lead one to see the USA as a nation of "splited" rather than united states.

Because art is losing the war to profit. The poets that were the forefathers of such a great nation have passed away, and their mementos are being sold off to the top bidders. They warned us of men seeking wealth and power removing the safe guards they had set forth and we did not listen, we became apathetic to their promises and inevitably gave way to their masochistic belief that money was the only true form of freedom and happiness.

Judging by your question I am going to guess that the answer has something to do with a horrible education system that leaves far too many people semi-illiterate.

They are not split but some people want you to think they are. See the peace in faces, walk away from the hate.

Bad spelling and grammar is the problem--and failure to use the spell check button. It's a failure in communication. You should know a lot about that.

1. learn how to talk correctly (they didn't put that check spelling icon on there because it looks pretty)
2. you need a variation of opinions and its easier to split them up into sections.
