On september 18th of this yr i had the depo (the contraception needle thing) neways me & my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex for about 5 months now and i have neva gotten pregnant. But for about 6-8 weeks i have been feeling really upset and just always burst in 2 tears for no reason all the time and my stomach as gone quite big and i cant fit in any of my clothes, the thing that is confussing my is that i have been on my periods for about 3 weeks non stop i do come off but it only for like 1 hour also i have lately been gettin heartburn & having it in the back of my throat, and i have been gettin cramps in my stomach and it is sore if anyone touches it quite hard do you think my doctor will do a scan on me to see if i am pregnant or if der is anything wrong with my stomach i really dont know what to do can any one please give me any advice thank you xxxx

You could be pregnant. Some women still have periods during pregnancy. I did for the first month. If you really feel that you are pregnant you should definately go see your doctor. Tell your doctor what you think and you can have a blood test taken to test for pregnancy. And if you aren't pregnant your doctor can figure out what could possibly be the problem. It sounds like you have all the symptoms, but go to the doc and get checked!!

Constant bleeding like that is normal after having the Depo shot. Just because you didn't get pregnant before you got the shot doesn't mean that you didn't get pregnant just before you got it or just after it. Remember birth control is tricky. You need to give it time to kick in.
You really need to see a doctor to find out what is going on. I don't really know a lot about the shot other than bleeding is normal.
I am not sure if you can take a home test when you are on Depo or not.

I've been having sex with my fiance for two years now, and last night I found out I was pregnant. You MUST go see a doctor now. A good OB GYN, maybe the one who helped you with the contraception needle.

You are having some of the symptoms of being pregnant. If I were you, I would go to the Doctor just to make sure of what is happening...

maybe the depo is ahving an affect on you, talk with your dr, You can always take a test to see if you are pregnant.

it sounds to me like you may have something seriously wrong to be bleeding that much, if that is what you mean by having your periods. Please go see a doctor quick and get checked for more that just pregnancy.
