In my personal opinion, I believe that Bush is a horrible President, but he should NOT be impeached.

There are several reasons why I believe this, mostly because I don't want to have to hear a long, drawn out hearing & he only has two years left on his term.

No because he has not commited any "high crimes" or anything else to be impeached for. However the Democrats are talking about trying to impeach him anyway because of what happened to Mr. Clinton.

I don't know that Bush has done anything that would require him to be impeached. The Democrats have fought to impeach him since the Republicans tried to impeach Clinton. Tit for tat. Frankly, I think the Democrats have been petty about the entire thing. They have also been upset since the first election. If you are talking about the war in Iraq, he had many accomplices in Congress. If they decide to impeach him for the war, then all those who voted to go to Iraq should also be impeached. He only has a couple of years left in his administration. At this point, I believe it would be a waste of our resources. If it is done now, it will be strictly for grandstanding purposes.

I guess you Americans that love Mr. Bush will be really happy when you finally realize how he has gotten you all in debt to the tune of $28,000 per person of which the Bush Administration is accountable for $9,000 of that in six years.

Give him two more years and the Bush Administration should have that up to $30,000 per person. Wake up and realize he is screwing over America.

This is his last term so why impeach him now? The damage is already done. The next person has to pick up the pieces. No matter when he is removed. SO why bother with it now? If it needed to be done, why wasn't done when he first sent troops.

Amazing when people compare a man who got a bj to a man who has waged an illegal war that has killed hundreds of thousands of people and just so happens to have ties to companies that profit financially from that war.

Do the research. The Carlyle group is a good place to start. Bushs major stockholders, Have to be invited to invest. Some other investors Cheney, Bin Laden family, and many more.

its amazing to me that all of you are saying he didnt break the law. warrantless wiretaps are a direct violation of the rights of everyone that it happened to. also, it was recently revealed that the government has been assessing the probabilities of US citizens being terrorists, and not allowing them on planes. this wouldnt be a big deal, other than the fact that they dont allow ppl to see whats in their files, so if they make a mistake, that citizen is blacklisted from flights indefinitely without the right to defend themselves. then theres the prisons that have been set up on foreign soil, the detainees that have been kept without trial and with no evidence.......... the list goes on and on.

the president is not immuned to the laws the rest of us need to follow. when he's sworn into office, he swears to uphold the laws and the constitution (which more ppl need to read... just for example, check out the 8th ammendment, which has been trampled on by this administration).

and yes, clinton lied, but clinton lied about his personal life and who'd been touching his penis, which he shouldnt have done, but honestly..... is it anyone's business? he left us with great standing in the rest of the world, he had a MASSIVE surplus which this cabinet has wasted (so you cant say much about tax and spend democrats, since bush has spent more than anyone in history, and clinton saved more than anyone else), the us dollar was strong, and unemployment was lower than its been since.... yeah, he got a bj, if you think thats bad, well... at least he's not a former coke head who dodged vietnam and has failed at everything he's ever done, being pulled around by his dad's friends, and telling ppl that he's starting wars in the name of god.

Not liking him isn't grounds for impeachment. What is your reasoning for an impeachment?

it would be unwise for the Democrats to pull a stunt like this. Why? It'll backfire on them

Crimes, What about lyeing to the citizens of this country. Fooling us into going to war for nothing. Having so many of our soldiers die for nothing. What do we get from this, seeing Saddam die. Is 1 Iraqi worth thousands of troops. You do the math. "
Support the Troops not the War"
