...keep what you have and receive $50,000 after taxes?

In other words, start from scratch with nothing but one million
dollars and the clothes on your back. Or keep everything you
have right now (including debt) and have $50,000 in the bank.

Which would you choose?

Keep everything I have. I worked hard to get where I'm and life is good especially with the debt it builds character. Money can't bring that much happiness.

If it was just me, I'd take the million, But since I love my son and want to keep things like pictures and baby clothes and his baby book , I'll just take the $50,000.

A mill wouldn't mak a dent in my guns... And I have no debt to speak of (I rent, and all my toys are paid for) So showme the 50,000 I could have LOTS of fun with that

I would give it upi for a million dollars, but I would make a list of everything I owned then buy it again and still have about $999,000 left over.

I would easily give up all my material possessions for $1 Mil. I could then rebuy it all and still have more than $50K.
