When i hook up my ipod video to my pc my virus scan alerts me and it show that Virus.Python.RJump.a was detected in the ipod. Is it a big deal or should i ignore it.

If the Virus is indeed on the iPod hard drive, use the iPod utility to wipe (format) it clean and reload all your music (which should still be unchanged in your iTunes music library. If you can connect your iPod and run a virus scan on the iPod hard drive. If the virus is there, wipe the iPod clean, reload your music, and you should be fine.

P.S. (Response for below) True Mp3, WAV, Ogg, etc... Music files can not have functional viruses embedded on them. Don't worry about the music.

you should probably fix it but before you put your music back on you should make sure none of your songs have a virus
