how do you get the very best smoothness down there? i hear that applying a white perspirant after you shave will reduce irritation & i tried that but what if you shave every day? any tried & true methods other than waxing & laser? thanks a lot :D

First, make sure you shave with the direction the hair grows, not against...that causes bumps and ingrown hairs. Keep a seperate razor for shaving only that area...that way it stay sharper longer. Keep a close eye on it and the moment you think it might, just maybe be getting dull, change the blade. The best shaving cream I've ever used is men's for sensetive skin...it may not smell girly, but it works much better than women's and you can soap up again to wash off the guy smell. Make sure you are using one of the good triple blade razors. And, the white deoderant thing........you rub on a very small amount of the soft white antiperspirant, just enough to very lightly go over it, not the hard stick, not the clear gel...soft white kind. Plus, shaving everyday should cut down on the amount of irritation, so slow down and make long slow strokes. The slow you go, the better the shave, and the more times you go over an area, the more irritated it can get.

Actually the more often you shave the more irritated it can get, your best bet is to try not to shave it everyday (i know it sucks) but wait untill there is "reason" for the shave and then shave, soak in the tub for 15 minutes prior and then shave, you can also put a heavy "cream" lotion on after you shave, that helps with the smoothness!!
