Just because life starts in the womb doesn't mean it's a child, IF life starts in the womb then the calves that are bred for veal wouldn't be on dinner plates, neither would lamb chops or baby back ribs. A pregnancy is NOT a child. A CHILD is a BORN human a pregnancy is NOT a born human therefore a child is not killed during an abortion. A MEDICAL abortion is an elective termination of a pregnancy just as a MISCARRIAGE is a spontaneous termination of a pregnancy. So would you tell a woman who just had a miscarriage that her body KILLED her child? Pregnancies and child birth also kill they kill the child mother's who's bodies are not yet fully prepared and developed to carry a full term pregnancy, child birth can also kill the the birthing child in an under developed too young mother, abortion isn't always about the lifestyle of the mother but of her HEALTH. Would you tell the mother of small children at home that she can't abort a current pregnancy although because of health issues SHE faces the pregnancy will kill her? Would you CHOOSE to leave her children motherless because she was pregnant?

For all those people out there that think it's a womans choice to murder her baby because it's not a good time for her. I'd like to know if you think it's ok to kill yourself. Oh and who the hell ever said that your baby will go to heaven if you kill it now?

it all depends on your beliefs. I personally dont think abortion is the way to go, because you know when you have sex there is ALWAYS the possibility of getting pregnant and if you dont think you can handle that responsibility then you shouldnt have sex. But i also believe that if you are raped then the option should be open. Because rape is traumatic enough, and the baby would only be looked at as the result of your experience and thats not fair to you or the baby. (but i would keep it either way)

Okay, so ... you would have adopted my best friend's baby? Even though her boyfriend forced her to take cocaine while she was pregnant? And her mother would have beaten her if she found out? And there's a history of more than one genetic disease in her family?
Oh, yeah, I forgot ... there are plenty of good Christian couples who would have taken her in and let her live with them until she had the baby. Surely I should have driven her to one of their homes instead of to the abortion clinic. That would have been more noble. Even though four 'compassionate' women there spit on us and called us names. Showing up at a Christian couple's door would have instantly solved her problems.
So tell me ... where would she have gone afterward? I mean, after the baby was born? You know, once they were done with her? It would sure have been nice if they would let her stay there forever. Because her mother would have beaten her as soon as she got home. And her boyfriend would have started making her take drugs again. Oh, wait ... that doesn't happen. They wouldn't have let her stay there.
It was a nice idea while it lasted.
And yes, she did eventually leave him. It took a restraining order and she was almost shot by his friends more than once, but she did. Having the abortion took more courage, though.

yeah let's just throw more babies into adoptive homes so the adoptive parent's can get rich while the kids sleep in chicken coops.. yeah that's the right thing! It's much better to live an entire life in hell than to have someone love you enough to send you to heaven....
yeah.. that's the right thing to do...

I am pro-choice. Women else has the right to control their own bodies, whether it be to continue with the pregnancy or to end it.
I am pro-life when the child is already born and the mom gives birth and leaves the baby in the dumpster to die.

I couldn't, I'm 15 and I stand with what I believe, and I believe I could handle it (having a baby that is). I wont have sex, but if I were raped or something and got pregnant then I would keep it, my parents would forgive me for getting raped because its not my fault, but if I got a abortion then I would never forgive myself. and don't say, "stupid kid she doesn't know what she says" I have talked to a pregnant teen, (she's 13) and I know that if she could handle it I could, and I have a little brother so I know how to take care of them.
anyways, its nasty, their pretty much ripping the baby apart.
PS, and yea I know that if I were raped I would most likely be killed.
