More than once when I only wanted friendship it has been confused when I even said friendship only!!!! That is life I guess. You would think they would stop thinking they could rule and control everyone.

Yes because when you are friends you get to know more of a person and you tend to develop feelings. A person who is in love tends to imagine things and might misinterpret any action as a signal of affection

Yes, about 3-4 years ago. Made a complete fool out of myself, but it wasn't fatal!!! Looking back, I realize it was mostly in my head. That was the last infatuation I experienced.

Yes, I totally thought this guy wanted me one time. He took me out for a "business" lunch, which confirmed by belief. All he talked about during our lunch was his fiance.
