All our money is being used for the war in Iraq. It has nothing to do with oil (I mean the money, not the war). If America pulled out and sent all those troops and all that money to Africa instead, we could do a lot of help. But the high cost of the war and the fact that all our civil nurses and doctors and troops are over in Iraq, we have no one to send to Africa, other than Angelina Jolie and Susan Sarandon.

Why is the rest of the world ignoring it as well? Interesting how the US is expected to police the world and when they do, they are chastised and when they don't, they are chastised as well.
As for the oil, it's impossible to get oil from Iraq since it's former despot thought keeping himself and his diabolical family in riches and the latest torture devices was more important than keeping the oil refineries in working order. Those that did work somewhat when the US got there have been destroyed by the imported "insurgents" from Iran and Syria.

What are you trying to do with such a question...
The civil wars in Africa, I think we have what you call the United Nations to handle that. The U.S. has their own problems...we have the poor here...we have to battle the racial, the immigrant problems and Terrorism.

Because we simply can't help everyone. If we were helping in Africa, people would ask why we aren't helping elsewhere. WE CAN'T HELP EVERYONE! And when we do try to help, everyone likes to crap on us for trying. It's funny. People say we can't be the worlds policemen, but we're the first one they call when someone wants a cop.
