I grew up in Chicago, when I was in my 30's and married my 2nd hubby we lived in the country for about 4 years. We now live in a small-ish city and I totally miss being out in the sticks. The only thing I would miss about the city is the convenience of not having to drive so much.

country! i would shrivel up and die in the city! i love vacationing and getting a hotel in the city, but I also look forward to going home and hearing the chickens in the coop and the cricket frongs croaking all night! and the crackle of a fire is the ultimate best! nothing in the city can compare to a fire of old scrap wood burning away....
