Your question really will not have a solid answer. Every dancer out there has a different opinion as to which shoe is better. It's like asking a runner if Nike or Adidas is better.
Then you have to take into account that different manufacturers create different shoes for different levels of dancers. A student just beginning on pointe will wear a much different shoe than a professional ballet dancer. Manufacturers cater to the dancers needs.
For a student just starting out, Capezio or Bloch is perfect to get them going. As the student progresses and her needs change she may go to Freed's or Gayner Mindon. Quality changes as you go to the higher priced shoes, and mostly the more experienced dancer will appreciate and need the higher qualities.

There are lots of brands and each brand has many styles and shapes to choose from...it's really a personal choice!

Er, your question doesn't make sense. Are you asking which styles of pointe shoes of the popular styles and brands are the best and worst QUALITY? Given the fact that these would be the POPULAR styles, it doesn't follow that they'd be of poor quality. Or are you asking what are the MOST and LEAST popular makes of pointe shoes?

All brands of pointe shoes have their supporters. If a style doesn't sell well, the maker will stop making it or make alterations to it. It's a subjective matter based on which style of pointe shoe works best for you. You need to be fitted by a professional fitter and experiment with different styles.

hahaha I personally love Capezio :) But you should be more worried about the fit. By the sounds of it, these are your first pair..? I would recommend going to a ballet shoe fitter, and getting fitted. They will give you their advice and get you fitted with the shoes that were meant for you :) GOOD LUCK!!!
