Besides the mountains, it does snow a couple of times a decade any place else in California.

February 2003 CSU Chico got an inch of snow. Chico is located in the north central valley.

Only the mountains and higher elevations. Even Northern California gets hit by snow but not often.

Absolutely we have snow in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The summit is about 7,000 feet. We have tons of skiing around Tahoe. Heavenly Valley, NorthStar, Squaw Valley, Boreal, etc., etc. We get several feet of snow at the higher elevations.

I wish we didn't I hate the snow but yes it does snow in certain spots. Fortunately not in Los Angeles though
