Me too, me too please...
Have I had one? No. Did I think about it? Yes. Did I go through hell trying to decide what to do? Got that right. In the end I decided to keep him (he is now 8). Do I regret my decision? Never. Would I ever have the audacity to tell another woman what to do with her body? I would have some nerve if I did.
I know what it felt like to think I could not have my baby. I cried myself to sleep every night. My hubby (fiance at the time) supported my choice. When I told him I decided to keep the baby (after a week of torturing myself) he was relieved and told me he wanted to keep him all along but could not tell me. We were a very lucky statistic and have been happily married for 8 yrs - do that math :) and are expecting baby #3 in a few months.
I do agree there should be a 'time limit' on when it should be done but NEVER should a woman be told what to do or not do with her body.
(and I agree with the ppl that said it should not be used as birth control - but it does beat unwanted babies, babies that are abused, babies thrown in the trash etc. I also agree with some form of birth control and believe if you are not ready to have a child you should not be having sex since nothing except abstinence is 100% safe)

Passionate answers for a complex question. You can't answer questions like those with simple answers. People who ask them really don't want answers, they want to stir up trouble and hear themselves speak.
I am "pro-choice" because I am for individual rights for everyone. Unfortunately the women have to bear the brunt of the decision they make, which makes it all the more harder when they weigh their own life over a fetus's life. Sure the baby has rights, but so does the woman who is carrying that fetus. It's a private decision, and that is where it should stay.

I am pro-choice, but my choice is to never have an abortion unless there is an extreme medical reason for it. I don't mean mental illness or anything like that. Something that poses a serious risk to either the baby or I. At the same time if some one else wants to get an abortion, I have no right telling them not to. Therefore, I am pro-choice.

Yes. Although a fetus is a human being from the moment of conception, that fact cannot give it unlimited rights as against those of the mother, who will have to ingest an additional 50,000 calories to bring it to term, and deal with it for years afterward A compromise is necessary, and that laid down in Roe v. Wade was reasonable at the time -- and still is.

I am pro-choice although I don't believe abortion should be used as birth control. A condom is so much easier.

Pro-choice, but not pro-abortion unless as an option of last resort. I'm also pro-birth control, pro-abstinence, and pro-common sense. ^_^

No, I think you made your choice when you had sex. The child you concieved has the right to make their own choices by being born and getting the gift of life.
