You can actually see it if you get a hand mirror, and take a good close look down there - it's right at the opening of your vagina. Check out this webpage. http://www.coolnurse.com/hymen.htm, it should be able to explain it.

Though most women have intact hymens to start with there are a few born with little or none. Tampons can tear hymens as well as other activities.

if your a virgin then it is intact. the hymen is a muscle that's all. sports won't cause it to stretch.

If you have sex and it hurts and possibly blood then it is there, other than that ask the doctor to check, it is kind of one of those silent things in your body you don't really know much about.

1) yes-then it is NOT intact
2) no-then it is intact
