I just tried to dye my hair brown, but for some reason, it turned out a light almost yellowish/orangeish blonde. I'm naturally light blonde, and i've dyed my hair before, but it's never turned this color. Anyway, is it ok to re-dye it again with a darker color now?

its best if you don't, because you can damage it allot, how about you give it a rest for a couple of days and in the mean time put a darker colour rinse in (semi_permanent) that wont damage it at all, it will condition it and you will have darker hair. good luck.

I dye my hair anywhere from2-6 or 8 times a year depending on the color and how fast it fades or my roots show badly. everytime I go in to get my hair cut they are surprised at how healthy my hair is and in high school i also used a straight iron on it every day and my hair is still healthy. If you don't know what your hair can handle then you should wait 2 weeks other wise I myself wait 5-7days after the first dye. I looked up this question because I don't have a lot of time on my hands and planned on doing my hair this weekend so i'll just do my usual waiting period.

your hair must have been very dry as it soaked up the the color. Did you use a different brand of hair dye? I have had the same thing happen to me on several occasions and It is usually because I used a different brand. But I have dyed my hair twice in the same day and once again the next day, and use a good conditioner for color treated hair. My hair is very full and thick.
I have had no problem

Well, I did it once. My hair is dark and I dyed it a very light reddish blonde. It was too lights so I redyed it an ash brown. It turned out o.k. My hair didn't fall out. Since you dyed it yourself the first time, I suggest you get a pro to do it for you the second time. Once it's done, you need to REALLY take care of it. Conditioning is important and you need to steer clear of gels, sprays, mousse, excessive combing or brushing, etc. After about two weeks you should be fine.

Depends on what means of dying your hair you are doing? Kool Aid dyes hair without damaging. But there might not be the right color.

NO!!! that's going to reason harm. once you employ chemical ingredients on the hair, it reasons the cuticles to open wider, and the hair shaft swells. So, each and each time you colour, it swells that extremely extra. some hair (virgin, untouched from/with chemical ingredients) can take extra unfavourable provider treatments, than hair that has in the previous been taken care of. supply your hair a relax for numerous days to a pair weeks. Use a conditioning medical care as in line with guidelines/concepts.

No it's not OK to dye your hair twice in one day, because of all the chemicals and stuff and plus your hair will fall out.

dying your hair once does a lot of damage so dyeing it twice in 1 day is out of the question.

NOOOOOOOOOO. I was getting my hair permed in the salon and a lady walked in trying to get them to dye her hair but they refused because she had just dyed her hair one week before coming in. I asked the beautician why and she told me about how it can really damage your hair and scalp if you don't wait at least 2 WEEKS before dying your hair again. Burns, breakage, and hair falling out. DON'T DO IT.

Well if you want your hair to fall out, go ahead. But no, dying your hair that often will cause damage. Wait for some time then get it re-dyed by a pro.
