how do you search for someone and do you have to have an account for that?

Yes. I have a Facebook account. Yes, you have to have an account to search for one. You can search for someone if you go to the option that says "search", and you can type in the person's name, etc.

i'm pretty sure you have to have an account for that. it used to be where you could only join if you had an official high school or college email address, but they changed it, so now anyone can join

yeah, facebook is like a myspace place. started around university/college students, and yeah, you have to have an account.
