I am a 31 yr old man that quit working a few months ago be welfare pays better than McDonald's. As a result I had to move in with my mother bcause I couldn't pay my rent. Mom, however, doesn't seem to like me sleeping on her couch. So I was wondering... Should I kick her out of her bedroom and take the bed and let her sleep on the couch? What do you think?

oh my god. You are in your mothers house and you want to kick her out of her own room. AND your 31 years old and dont have a job.
I don't know if this is a joke question or what. cause if its not you are never going to get a date, you lazy slacker.
please, if you were my kid (which i thank God your not) i would have kicked you out the week after you moved in.
Find a real job, do something with your life other than mooching around, and move out, you slacker.
But if its a joke, then ok. forget the above =)
yay! I win!! ha!

Hi Jack,
Oh , did I say that out loud? That will get some attention. Anyway Jack what I was thinking was-
1) Are you serious or are you just joking?
2) Maybe you are serious.- If so then perhaps there is a reason she doesn't want you sleeping on the couch. Maybe she is an early riser and she wants to sit on the couch while you are still snoozing away. If this is the case then she surely will not want you in her bed.
Solution: Buy a blow up mattress. You can get a nice queen size bed that pops up by itself in less than a few minutes and put it somewhere out of the way so you won't be imposing.
Remember when you stay in someone elses home try to be a good guest even if the host is your mother. Try not to interrupt her routine, it is her home. You should be aware of what her routine is and try to accomodate her and perhaps help if possible.
If you see she rises at 5 am and makes coffee maybe you could wake up at 4:50 am and start the coffee for her this way it will be ready when she gets up. Does she still work? Maybe she needs her car warmed up before she leaves. Does she get home t 5:30pm each day? Make her dinner and be sure to pick up all the messes you make throughout the day. Does she have a dog? Does he need to be walked , fed etc.
Instead of worrying whether or not to kick your mom out of her bedroom to meet your needs you need to shift your focus. Find ways to help out.
I wish you well ,
Mr. G.

No. That would be very rude considering it is her house. Why don't you go and find a better paying job than McDonald's then you wouldn't have to be on welfare. There are probably people who need the welfare much more than you do, such as people with a disability that keeps them from ever being able to work a regular job.

You're taking advantage of your mother and the tax payer's dollars. People go one welfare when they can't get a job. You had a job and quit it because you're lazy. Get a job. And Your mother is right to want you out. No you shouldn't kick her out of her room. She should kick you out of her house.

You have got to be kidding. No it is your moms house and you should be in your own. Have you thought to tell your mom how much you appreciate her?
You made a bad choice. Your mom raised you now it is time for you to be an adult and perhaps help her.

You're a total loser. Get off welfare, get a job and get out of your mother's house. You're totally taking advantage of her. Grow the hell up.
