Made by the Indians of India in India. There are four plants each in the following places - Andhra Pradesh, Mumbai, Nasik and Igatpuri.
It is a big corporation with different divisions of which the automotive division is but one. The automotive division was historically linked to the American Motor Corporation and Willys Overland Corporation. The started off by assembling the Willys Jeeps 50 odd years ago and from there onwards got into the market by producing utility vehicles.

An Indian company. I believe they started out building agricultural equipment like tractors and trucks. Small cars and trucks now as well, if memory serves.
Lots of car companies started out doing agricultural equipment. Lamborghini started out building GREAT tractors.
