Third person perspective is when two people are interacting and the situation is looked upon by you as the third person who is not present at the scene. To look at a situation in third person perspective means to look at the situation in such a way that the two objects already involved in the situation don't. An example would be a divorce. The partners who have decided to get divorced might get some advice from a friend telling them to hang on to each other inspite of whatever differences they have because "he sees a bright future for their relation that both of them are not able to because of hate for each other." This advise that this friend gives is a third person perspective because neither the husband nor the wife is able to think about this possibility.

Carmen (who is me) is giving you an example.
Carmen is trying to get a whole bunch of points so she can get the water bottle.
Basically, talking in 3rd person is when a person talks about themselves as if they are someone else. They don't say "I" or "me" but "she" or calls themselves by their name.

it usually refers to when so is talking about themselve but uses their name instead of "I" like my name is Jessi. If I say "Jessi is a good dancer instead of saying I am a good dance. then that is 3rd person. usually when a person refers to themself with their first name instead of I. get it?

when you talk about yourself like you are someone else. For example you say - Bamma is going out or Bamma is eating, you are talking about yourself in 3rd person.

Talking in the third person usually means you are talking about yourself using your name.
Ex. "Kris is hungry," said Kris
Most toddlers use this type of speech.

Talk as if you are narrating the story...as if you are outside of the two person conversation.
