There is a section after each musical synopsis called "Songs of Interest". Look for a good comedic bass/baritone piece there.

Ex.
"Forbidden Fruit" from The Apple Tree
"The Dangerous Age" from Fade Out-Fade In
"All at Once" from Pipe Dream
"Am I Alone and Unobserved" from Patience (Gilbert and Sullivan)

Good luck.

for the monologue i would recommend Hamlet's soliloquy
It starts out
Speak the speech I pray you trippingly along the tongue.....

and for the song..
Elvira by the Oakridge Boys
