what do you think about reggae in general and rastafari? What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear Bob Marley?

Not only was he a great musician, but he was in the forefront of bringing Reggae to the rest of the world. Rastas in Jamaica were outlaws back in the day, but he stayed true to his beliefs (not just smoking herb), until his death.
Much like Hendrix, Morrison, and Lennon, he bacame a cultural icon and his legend keeps growing.

Bob Marley is an original!!! Marley was taken long before he should have been and when I hear a Bob Marley tune it puts me in a peaceful state of mind.
There is not many artists I like outside the METAL genre, but Bob Marley is definitely one of them.

Bob Marley is legendary..he is THE best reggae artist ever.....The first thing that comes to mind when I hear Bob Marley is Marijuana. lmao and of course concious lyrics.. oh oh and Jamaica...

As for reggae, I like the music... I just don't like it when the music is too slow. And rastafari? Can't say I could identify that if I tried...
