6 Months is a good time to introduce baby cereal and baby food to babies.

Feed him/her. My son is 6 months old and loves his solids more then formula as they get older and eat more solids they will require and want less and less formula. My son was started on solids at his 2 month check up {to my shock his Dr recommended it} and has been doing just fine. He loves mashed potato's, pudding, broccoli and cheese and gnawing on rolls. He is happy and healthy and in the end that is all that matters.

well if your baby is hungry give it more solids but still give it the formula at the morning and night time and try some water or apple juice throught the day. it is good if your baby want more solids than formula.

Just feed him/her. It wont hurt. Some babies are ready to eat sooner and more often than others. my 6month old eats solid (mashed) food about 2-3 times a day and breastfeeds about 2-3 times a day.

i think that is actually a good sign..my 6 month old wants her bottle more than solids and that means i have to feed her ALOT more and I have to wake up more times during the night because she is hungry again. but if it bothers you just dont give her solids at every feeding..eventually she will drink her milk because she is hungry...good luck and have fun

let them. at this age i think they are supposed to go down to 24 ounces per day of formula. this includes any night feedings. this will save you some money on formula. the baby will get what he needs from these foods. just make sure they are eating an iron fortified cereal and they should be just fine.

I don't know if you do this, but I *always* gave my babies the bottle before any solid foods, that way they wouldn't reject the formula, which should still be providing half your baby's nutrition at this point. Unless your baby is totally rejecting the bottle though, I wouldn't sweat it. Not every baby develops "by the book." :)
