You will have muscle aches all over but you'll mainly feel them in your neck and you will be hot when someone touches your neck or forehead or even under your arm. You will also feel really cold for no reason and want to get under the covers. Also when you have a fever if you ever take a shower when you have one you will shake really bad when you get out cause it'll be colder than normal

Usually you can tell if you have a fever if you feel cold, your face is flushed, and your head is warm. However, the best thing to do is check your temperature with a thermometer. 99 degrees and higher is fever. 98.5 is normal.

I think if the thermometer says you're hotter than 97 degrees you have one, plus if you're face is hott but the rest (of your body) is not, yes you do have a fever.
Have you heard the saying,
"Starve the cold
Feed the fever?"
If you do not feel like eating, you probably do have a fever, that's why you "feed it"
Try chicken noodle soup! I had that when I had one :)

If it's high enough you usually feel cold. Goose bumps and skin hot to the touch when you feel cold are also signs. Best bet is, buy a thermometer.

Ummm...the thermometer reads above 98.6? For the person that thinks you "need" a thermometer...no, not all ways. A headache with chills or hot and cold flashes are a good sign, as well as muscle aches.

If you have a headache, your face and forehead feel hot, your throat maybe hurts, and your stomach hurts...and you can get the chills or hot flashes too.
