Can you logically explain to me how God loves me unconditionally, and would send his only Son do die for me? Although eternally grateful, I shall never understand that one.

Some times things just "are"
It's a strong character trait to be naturally curious about everything...but not everything can be easily explained...with logic.
Some things are beyond our ability to reason...
