According to a Mythbuster's episode, they proved that mixing vodka with water and spraying it lightly on clothing with get the smell out. Something like one part vodka and 4 parts water.

It was amazing but it really did work!
Of course, I have NO idea if spraying vodka on your jacket would be safe but it's worth checking out!

Haha, this question reminds me about a dream I had, involving a leather jacket that smelled smokey... and everyone kept away from the guy because they thought he was a smoker, but it was actually just the smell of his jacket...
Ummm, sorry, can't help you... Yet I can say that I don't particularly think the smell of coffee trying to cover the smell of smoke is a good idea, but that's just me.

If you live in a state where it is cool right now, and you have a safe place to hang it, just hang in outside all night.... you'll be amazed. You can also stick a couple of dryer sheets in the sleeves.
