GWB refused to affiliate with anything that had Clinton's name on it, and no, I am not taking a stab at either party.
Typically, republicans and democrats don't even try and get along with each other.
For instance: Madeline Albright had been in North Korea making a deal to help them establish a power source through nuclear fission. The idea was to keep them safe, and as semi-allies. When GWB withdrew from the deal, N. Korea got ticked, and that is the reason they developed their own nuclear products.
I think we need to stop voting for parties, and vote for the people that like to play nice and work together. But since only politicians typically run for office, it will never happen.
