Air Purifier?

What is the best Air Purifier for the money. I have three pugs and a baby on the way. I have looked at the sharper image purifier, are these the best

I have allergies and use the Sharper Image purifier and an Oreck XL Electronic in two different rooms. I like the Oreck best. It has a little fan (that is very quiet in sleep mode) in it to help circulate the air, I think, a little better than the Sharper Ionicbreeze. The Oreck also has a switch to turn on or off the ion producer so when it's on you have a little of the ionic breeze technology working for you. The Sharper does a nice job but I think the Oreck is better.
