Ok. I am 12 years old, i'm a girl, I am 4 foot 9, my mom is 5 foot 1 and my dad is 5 foot 8, the doctor said when i am a full grown adult my height will be 5 foot 1, as an adult would that be really short? because when my mom comes into my school like everyone is taller than her.
what i'm trying to say, will 5 foot 1 as an adult be an issue? Like is that way too short? Cuz i am happy being a short child but will that change as an adult?

it's short, but not freakish or anything.

I am 5'.3. My mom is 5'.1, Dad 5'.9. There is no problem with being 5'.1 and an adult. Especially, since you're a girl. it's perfectly normal. You'll be considered 'petite'. A lot of guys like cute little petite girls:) My husband is 5'9 and I look up to him. One of my Aunts is only 4'.9! I am glad to be a little bit tall, but still considered petite. Don't sweat it! You'll turn out beautifully!

Being short is quite handy sometimes. You don't whack your head on things, you can get cute guys to help you get stuff off high shelves, you can buy kids clothes (they are much cheaper - my favourite top is sized for a 14 year old, and I'm 26, it was half the price of the adult size version!). Nothing wrong with being short.
My husband's mum is 5'4", his dad is 5'3, his sister is 5'10", my husband is 6'1" and his brother is 6'3"! Check out how tall your aunts and uncles are, that might give you a better idea for an average height to expect.

I'm 5' 1"and 19 years old. My mom is 5' and my dad is 5' 8". My height isn't a huge issue. Its nice because guys are always taller then me no matter what and I can wear sky high heels and still be shorter then them. Plus most guys think pint sized girls are cute anyways.

Being short does not change anything in your life, it will not effect anything, you can do anything that anybody else can do. My mom is like 5'5. She wont get any taller obviously cause shes an adult. Being small as an adult is not a bad thing.

Honey, there's nothing you can do about it, so there's no point in worrying about it. The world needs all kinds of people, all colors shapes and sizes. Concern yourself about the things you can change, like being a good person, a happy person, whatever you want.

guys like short girls dont worry it might even work to your advantage, anyways 5'1 is not terribly short it is in the normal range. Ask your mom, i doubt she has had any issues?

dont worry its fine! my mom is 5' 1'' also but no one cares! if you actually look around women arent very tall anyhow other than SOME! well also short people look alot better in heels! tall people look WEIRD! it's fine dont worry! you'll be ok! anyway who wants to be GIANT!!???
