The only thing that would help the Lakers is if Odom can produce at a Pippen type level which I don't know if he can or can't. Remeber Pippen led the Bulls to the Eastern Conference Finals without Jordan the year Jordan first retired. If he can't they'd need a 2nd scorer who can play point foward while Kobe takes the majority of the shots like L.James, V.Carter, T-Mac. Whoever that player is they would have to play 2nd fiddle while Kobe takes all the shots which is what Pippen did. Iverson wouldn't help the Lakers because Kobe and him would fight for the ball. Iverson would give Dallas the best chance of winning a ring because they have more pieces then Minnesota. Him and Garnett would be good too but still would have a tough time with Llamar and Kobe, San Antonio, and Dallas. Remember Garnett might be better then Odom but Kobe might be the one player who intimidates AI.

I think, if Allen Iverson goes anywhere, he should go to the Lakers. That would be an almost unstoppable team. Kobe can work the inside and outside just as well as A.I can. Kobe and A.I both need someone to look for out there on the court and those two would make a great team. I can already smell a championship with those two together.

First of all, the guy that bashed iverson is an idiot. Hes forgetting that he is the current scoring champion, and he got his team to the finals 3 or 4 years ago. Better without him? last time i checked phili lost like 9 in a row. Iverson will not go to a bad team. He will go to an established team without a main scorer. Chicago, Minnisota, Denver, and Goldenstate are the main prospects. He will not go to Memphis or Charlotte. And he definitely will not go to the lakers or dallas. Dallas doesnt need him, and the lakers need a KG type player, not another guy to take 30 shots a game. My guess is hes going to Chicago.

I am very close to philly and I have ate the garbage the media has fed our area about Iverson. Any team who actually thinks picking up this guy will be a plus for their team is nuts. He is the T.O. of his sport and his team yet in the NFL attendance is there every week no matter what. In the NBA, you have to advertise your players more and thats all Allen Iverson was and all he will be.

A big rant unrelated to the question but latest word is (this is locally) he has a good chance in going to the timberwolves and playing with the big ticket.

Anywhere he goes he will sell tickets but he will destroy coaches and the team. Good riddance Iverson, now philly can think about winning.

to Denver strait out. Allen verson wanted out of Philly because they suck. Why would he go to Memphis,Portland,or any other Sukey team. he needs a good team so the nuggets are the best choice. Besides Allen Iverson and Carmelo would be awesome together.

The odds are against A.I. in Philly and he is not really progressing there, it has been a while since they made an appearance in the playoff. I think he will be a great help to the Timberwolves, up there with K.G. With the ego problems that Kobe has, I don't think A.I. need to go over to LA.

If I were managing the Detroit Pistons. I would trade Billups and Prince for Iverson. This trade will help both teams. Detroit will have the dangerous scorer they need to get back to the Finals while Philly will get 2 quality starters.

Sounds like Minnesota for possibly Mike James and Randy Foye.

his team has more success when he is not in the game. Therefore they pass better and have more teamwork. Sometimes his teammates are even intimidated and are forced to pass it to him every time.

He gonna be traded to Memphis for probably 2 good starting guards (bobby jackson & damon stoudamire)

I say he goes to Boston. I would like to see him with KG. That guy needs some help. KG has earned a chance to get a ring.
