I have gotten 2 TMX Elmo's. Yea they are hard to get. The company's made it that way by only making just a few of these toys. They are cute but like someone stated I would have never paid more for these Elmo dolls than they are sold for in the stores. It just so happened that I know someone that stocks on third shift at local walmart and this person called me at 5 in the morning and told me that they just put Elmo on shelves and I got up went and got my little girls one. The store only received 8 of those things to stock. Now that is whats wrong with the whole Elmo thing. only making a few!

It is not important; that's what they are trying to make you think. Most companies try to make people think that buying their products is very important and that if you really love a person then you should buy them something. I don't think it is good to go to the ends of the earth to get your child anything he/she wants because once you start doing it, they will expect the same thing every time. Kids should learn that they can't always get what they want. If they do get what they want, great and if they don't, it should be fine too. The gift is not the most important thing. We have to teach kids to be grateful for whatever they get since there are a lot of kids all over the world who are not as fortunate to receive anything. The material stuff is not not as important as the sentimental. Gifts can't buy love. We have to teach kids that if they really want something, they have to work hard in order to earn it so that when they have it they could really appreciate what they have.

My daughter is a hUGE Elmo fan but I am not paying more for the toy than it's worth. I'll wait till the buzz dies down and she'll get it as a present for another holiday. It's sooo dumb the cost of that PS3. We still have a PS1 lol that's how into video games we are. We thought of buying a PS2 for xmas this year lol. I think it's rediculous to scamper around looking for the "it" toy. I have always asked my daughter what she was going to ask Santa for before we went to see him so that I could get the item and thankfully she's never asked for something I couldn't find right away.

Hmmm. For the TMX, it's pretty weird and it's HUGE on Ebay because of it's tickle spots. For the PS3, hardcore gamers MUST get it. All i want is a Wii.
