Unplug the dryer and check the heating elements for continuity.
You can bypass the temperature sensor if that is the problem.
If your in an older house with fuses, check the fuse box, but most houses built since WWII will have circuit breakers. Your dryer will be on a 2-pole 30 amp breaker. While you have the dryer out from the wall, clean the accumulated lint and dust from the motor compartment.

1st Turn on your dryer and let run a few seconds to see if it warms up (gets hot). If it does, then your heating element is fine as well as the thermal switch.
2nd Look behind the dryer at the vent hose and see if it's pinched. This will cause your dryer to take longer to dry clothes.
3rd Go to your local hardware store and asked someone for a brush to clean dryer vents. There not expensive at all and the salesperson can give you tips on how to use the brush. It's raelly easy.

If you need to check the sensor, just unplug the dryer, unplug the 2 wires from the sensor and hook the 2 ends together, then plug the dryer back up and turn it on. If it heats up then you know the sensor is bad.

I consider all and sundry else that referenced the retractable outfits strains. one element that I did while i substitute into in an condominium that did no longer have a washing device/dryer. I had a protracted extensive yet no longer very tall field that I placed over the compelled air warmth vent. I decrease a chain of slots in the field and then hung the moist outfits above the field. the subsequent morning the clothing have been dry and the field went lower back into the closet. you employ the field to unfold the dry heated air up and around the clothing. It did a exceptionally sturdy job of drying even my wool uniform. you could intend to be specific the room (I did mine in the bathing room) has the door open. you do no longer choose all of that water launched in a small room or you will finally end up with mildew. you need to apply a field fan on low to help circulate various the air out and around the clothing. sturdy success.
