I think its an OKAY name. Its an "older" name if you know what I mean. I have a godbaby whose father wanted to name her Vera my best friend refused said it sounded like a old lady name instead they named her Tyveranay..yeah yeah I know, but I call her Ty

it isn't my style but it is a pretty name, especially with a more modern, fun middle name.
Like maybe Vera Jade?

Yes, I do. Quite alot and the more you say it the more I like it. Wish I had thought of this when answering other questions about baby names. Just goes to show there won't be alot of them.. Great name!

it's a very pretty name. i only know one vera and she is such a sweet girl. i'm not sure why this name isn't used more often.

I like this name. I think older names are nice, and she won't have 3 other kids in her class with the same name.

My pastor's name is Vera.
Remember to think about the baby's future and how other kids could tease them when picking out names.
I almost named my daughter Raine, boy would THAT have been a mistake.

YES! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Thats what I want to name my daughter when I have one that is..I think its beautiful although people often times make fun of me for wanting a name like that.

no i do not . my gf mom is called Vera and she abused the poor girl along with the other girls in her family.
a nice name is Mary or well anything but that one .please

Oh God no! Im probably biased when I say this because I know a Very and she is really annoying and basically hated by almost everyone
