My nephew is having a DNA done on a baby this girl is claiming is his and the cost is 600 dollars. My husband had one done on his daughter he paid 800 dollars. I think alot depends on where the test is done. In my nephews case it is being done across state lines which will increase the cost of the DNA testing, why I do not know. But I have heard of do it yourself kits that can only be about 200-300 if you want to wait until the child is born all you will need is the saliva from you and from the baby {inside of the cheek is swiped with a q-tip like device}

It probably could be done before the birth; however, I would be surprised to find a doctor that would be willing to do the procedure that might cause the mother to miscarry the child.

One can have an amnio done for health reason and the cells remoced can be tested, but unless there is s specific need for amnio, drs won't do it for paternity, you are going to have to wait until the baby is born, and then they have to draw blood from the baby. its kind cruel, just to prove face for someone

Trying to figure out who the mother is? Yes, blood can be extracted from a fetus and the DNA can be checked, however it would be very costly.
