First of all, I was rooting for Troy Smith to win the Heisman trophy tonight. It would of sucked to see Brady or McFadden win it instead. But Troy won it. Congrats to him.

Yes, I was surprised that McFadden was #2 infront of Brady Quinn. Wow. The point difference was significant too.

Both Smith and Quinn are Ohio boys. :)

properly what may well be relaxing for Oakland to do...bypass on Brady Quinn and JaMarcus Russell...take Calvin Johnson LSU and Steve Smith USC and Troy Smith interior the third around. particular Smith isn't a precise QB on the boards, yet you do not win the Heisman given which you have not any expertise, besides the undeniable fact that they are not all success memories. even though...the superb extra healthful for them may well be JaMarcus Russell in the present day because of the fact their offensive line isn't very stable and Russell is a superb cellular QB over Quinn...yet Smith...i don't know, it style of feels weird and wonderful how a participant can fall that a approaches because of the fact of top and dropping to Florida after doing so properly and earlier being projected so severe...even though Russell precise now

i am surprised that mcfadden beat quinn out although i, myself, like mcfadden more. the only reason i was surprised was not that mcfadden is or isnt a better player than quinn (like i mentioned before i think he is), but by the mere fact that coming out of arkansas, the sophmore running back didnt have much of a heisman campaign going to sway voters.

not at all surprised. mcfadden would have gotten my #1 vote. he's easily the most talented player in the nation and the only thing that restricted him from winning was all the publicity that troy smith gets. i'm cool with smith gettin it tho, anyone but brady. that guy gets way too much credit for doing absolutely nothing special.

Yep -- that's a big surprise -- Run DMC is the best of the lot but he was basically unheralded until halfway thru the season. Heisman voters must be smarter than I figured.

No surprise there, but I am surprised steve slaton finished behind the two of them. I thought he'd be good for a second place finish.
