How can you go anywhere.......your dead

The two thoughts here are: physical body after death, and: spiritual body after death.
I'm a 'spirit-body after death' kinda guy. But to your question; What if we are already there/here. If eternity surrounds us then maybe we don't 'go' anywhere we just melt into the eternity that is surrounding us. Man I shouldn't listen to the Grateful Dead while I do this. If god created us in his image and God is a spiritual entity then to me it follows that our spirit goes to where ever it is that we go. I say that to say this: Wherever it is, it ain't gonna be some physical world, no matter how many near-death experiences say that they saw 'streets of gold'. If you're looking for heaven then start with the things that get you there. And good luck in this continuing endeavor.
