Your car is new so no problem at all if it would be for 3 weeks only , i have leave my car on the airport the same amount of time and no problem at all, but if your car is old like a '94 honda civic on christmas it won't last more than 3 days so , i can tell dont worry your car is new and youre not going to have any troubles but if it is old you would need to put a gas stabilizer, disconnect the battery, and replace the motor oil, because of the condensation in the oil pan, also some people jack the car so it don't put weight on the suspension system.
i'm a tech and my brother is a Diesel tech so if you have more question ..............shot it !

personaly if it was me, just disconect the positive terminal, make sure your tank is over half for sure. Also when you return, cycle the key a few times, this will pump fuel into the system, so put key in ign, turn it on, not start, so turn like you are going to start, but do not start, repeat that process 3 times. When started let it warm up at least 10 minutes, into the 10 minutes, place the car in nuetral, with your foot on brake this will warm the transmission up, and get the fluids going through the system. Dont be to alarmed up the service light comes on (yellow) somtimes, your 02 sensor will trip from sitting when fresh 02 comes through the system. Usally you can unhook your battery and re hook it and that will reset the code. Happy holidays

An '06 with 6K is in almost new shape. You should be OK with leaving it for 3 weeks, but I might suggest one of those long-term attended parking lots that will start your car once a week and drop you off/pick you up at the airport. I would be more concerned with the possibility of theft or break-in.

U don't have to worry about any of this. U don't have to fill up your tank ( it doesnt hurt though ) but it makes no diffirence , you don't need to unhook your battery. Just park the car , go wherever u are going and don't even think about the car :) It will start up just fine and u wont have anything like that to worry about.
The battery will be fine and so will everything else. Just turn the key and drive when u get back home :)
No worries whatsoever
Adios :)

don't know why you would need to fill the tank. but 3 weeks can drain the battery with today's cars and trucks. even with the car off there are certain items still pulling some juice like the cars PCM so it can keep its stored memory of how you drive and adjust everything accordingly.
so might be a good idea to disconnect the battery. only way to find out is to leave it connected and leave it for 3 weeks to find out for sure. or just look at car lots. how many times do they have to jump cars just sitting there so people can test drive them.

Keeping the tank full is a good idea but the wait sitting in a parking garage or lot for 3 weeks does not require battery disconnection as LONG as you don't leave any accessories on. ( lights etc. )

Leaving a automobile battery idle for 3 weeks in the present day is severe abuse. shouldn't completely 'kill' a sparkling battery, yet might sensible 'drain' a used one. Used automobile precise? attempt having the battery recharged, and see if it holds a value.

Not with a battery that new. Those people are telling you things that may have been true 15-20 years ago, but not anymore.

basically, all you should do is unhook the battery hon. I had to leave my car in long term parking for almost 2 months. I unhooked the battery. when I got back and hooked it up again it started up just fine. :)
