I can get one but is it worth it is it that great or for that money is there something eles i should be buying just wanna know if its worth it and how you like it. thanks

Currently, it is the safest option. It has a wide variety of games, and 2007 looks to be the year of the 360. Notable games include Mass Effect, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, GTA4, and of course, Halo 3. Your other two options are the Wii and the PS3. Wii is going to great for Nintendo-made games and experimental games (lots of originalty, usually not the best sellers). The PS3 will shape-up by late 2007. To put in mildly, Sony is in trouble. The president of the PS line was currently demoted, and the PS3 is losing exclusives left and right. 3rd parties are flocking towards the 360, and with everything MS is doing, like downloadable movies and TV shows in addition to the demos and other game content. The controller is also the best of the 3 next-gen consoles. Basically, not only is the 360 a safe bet, it's absolutely worth the price.
This is coming from someone who owns all 3 consoles and knows a lot about the industry.
HD-DVD drive is OPTIONAL, and only plays movies. MS has gone on record saying no games will ever be released on HD-DVD.

Xbox 360s online costs because its better and 360 is getting a motion controller the natal . 360 also has more exclusives Halo / gears of war , shadowrun /, mass effect / splinter cell conviction / grand theft auto lost and damned / Fable / Crackdown / Perfect dark zero and like 500 downloadable games only on xbox live so we have tleast 500 games playstation will never get so do the math . And playstation users talk about red ring but they fixed that a year ago so they're traped in the past You will love all the extra features only on xbox like watching movies with 8 players online so they dont come to your house, and facebook and twitter and last fm radio and exclusive ................ South park episodes only on xbox live not even on tv So is it worth getting a playstation 400 mic 20$ motion control hub 40$ eyetoy 20$ and waiting for good games to come out to make the online worth playing .

I remember that gamespot had compared the graphics between 360 and ps3 and, well, the 360 beat the ps3 most of the time. The Library currently, is solid with Gears of War out and Call of Duty 3 out and Halo 3 ready to unleash pain. Also, can you find a ps3 anywhere? Wii, you might want to wait more because of debut jitters (broken straps and all).

no because you can't paly hd dvds to do that you have to buy a $200 unit to do so the wii or ps3 is a better choice,but look in to the wii because it is really fun to play

Well, depends. If your a hardcore gamer, the PS3 or XBOX360 is your console. I suggest you should wait and decide or just buy it.
