Bought this on Ebay but came without OS. no cd or boot disk. older type that used windows 95. what upgrade can be installed ?

If it used to run Win95, it probably won't run WinXP. Those old systems have microscopic hard drives, and almost no memory by modern standards. If you can come up with a Win98 CD and valid key, or heaven help us, a Win95 CD, you could try installing those.

If your Thinkpad has a built-in floppy drive, I might be willing to buy it from you. I have a customer that needs cheap Win98 laptops that will boot DOS and have a floppy drive.

Well, their are multiple choises avaible to you. The upgrade that I reccomend is Windows XP because it comes in many different versions such as Media Center, Home Edition, and much much more.
