It probably is a fix. It absolutely sucks, he was the only one left who had any talent. Heres hoping he will do well anyway and release some songs soon! He's a great guy.

I think it's sad and that Ben deserved better but I don't think it's unfair in the sense that it was fixed. It's done on votes, not merit, and daft things can happen that way.
Silly things happen. People think "Ben's bound to get through, he doesn't need my vote as much as X". Also Ben's musical style is quite serious and grown-up compared to the others - he's the only one who can actually play an instrument, he is a complete musician - and maybe that appeals less to the mass audience than a more vulnerable-seeming teenager.....
By the way, if you think it's a fix and want to punish the organisers, don't organise a petition - that's just more publicity for the X factor, and that's what the whole thing thrives on. If you want to punish them, stop watching it, stop talking about it, don't buy the records when they come out, and don't watch the next series either. Talking up the issue just promotes the show more.

Me & My Family Wont be watching the final next week now Ben is out but i want Leona to win over Ray because as i have posted on other X-Factor Question
I am Gutted that Ben Went out last night i voted for him at least 20 times or more he should have been in the final even if he lost out to winning by Leona,
Ray should never has got though the additions let alone the final because he was in Brookside for years so he is already an actor and knows the business i thought the X-Factor was for unknown talent, which he is not because he was in Brookside playing Antony Murray, so because he don't have acting work he thought i know i will go and try singing instead! i though he was a bit out of tune when he sang "Smile" last night,
and why oh way did Simon's to both Ray & Leona had to cry after there songs please if that was not symphy vote i dont know what is at least Ben just came out and did what he was doing no gimmicks or ploys for votes, maybe that was his down fall,or maybe it was the fact that in his home town of whitstable his ex-girlfreind had put up posters saying Vote Leona because she was up set she was fined £1000 last week for smashing up ben's house,
whatever i think it was unfair that Panto Boy Ray got though over Ben!
now Ben has gone Leona to win i cant stand Swinging Ray!
BEN WAS ROBBED!

Eton Road should have been in the final - they are the only ones who had the 'X' factor.
Leona is a young pretty girl who sings quite well - but there's nothing that special. Ray is a good singer but again nothing special.
Of course it's a fix - I don't know why I watch it either!!
And if you doubt it's a fix, just remember that Ray almost didn't get through the selection stage but for a late change of rules and the request of... erm let me think, oh yes the guy who owns the program. What a surprise then that he now gets into the final.

Yes. Unlike Ray who just does the same swing stuff each week, he and Leona have sung songs which are well-and-truly outside their comfort zones. Leona got the hardest song imaginable to sing last night, and did it brilliantly. Last week, Ben took a major risk by singing a capella (meaning you only focus on his voice, there's no tune to hide behind) and also did it brilliantly. Ray however, just slurs some sub-Dean Martin pastiche every week, playing it safe, and is in the final.
That said, I don't think this is the last we have seen of Ben. He has had maximum exposure for several weeks on prime time television, and so is well-known to record producers. We haven't had a singer like him from this country for a very long time, so let's hope he gets a chance to record, because he is a very talented artist, and has a great recording voice.

Why is it unfair, he was beaten fair and square, so all you Ben fans get over it, he'll do well out of it no matter what, he just wont be on the tele next week, big deal, he's a right muppet anyway. He was so **** sure he was going to win just shows you doesn't it nothing is guaranteed, apart from the fact that Ray will go on to win, because he's an all rounder.

What a FIX, how could Ben go. Have you seen the news recently, Ray was originally in Eton Rd but advised to go it alone, neither act was originally choosen but Simon wanted Ray so Lewie got Eton Rd, when ER got voted off the blonde one winked at the panel, obviously all pre-planned. What a Sham. I turned off as soon as they said BEN, can't watch anymore what a Sham.
Sorry but it just bugs me its an obvious fix !

YES, but its been obvious from day one
Leona is going to win! its a fix!
but then if Ben gets a contract and record deal we will see if he really can sell records, not my favourite, but would have preferred him in the final to Ray

couldnt agree more, the little scally(ray) turned on the waterworks to get his vote! if leona doesn`t win next week A,its a fix or B,it tells you the standard of the british publics music (crap)
as far as i`m concerned leona is in a different league to any of the last five acts! i also see her becoming a massive superstar along the lines of maria carey and j-lo etc. she`s going to sell millions of records

I don't think Ray deserves to be in, but it isn't unfair. It's a public vote, adjudicated by official bodies, they wouldn't be able to falsify the results, because that would be against the law - and ITV would have to face up to OFCOM.... best thing we can do is get over it!
