I am eight weeks pregnant. Now I've heard many people talk about having a low sex drive, but mine is 10 times greater than even before I got pregnant. Is this a normal experience?

Unkay!! My sex drive is pretty high when I am not pregnant but when I am its even higher, even late into my pregnancy.

I think it all depends on the women. I felt even more beautiful when I was pregnant. :)

Congrats on your little one :)

I have 3 children and my wife's sex drive was low for our first pregnancy, but for the next 2 children she could not get enough of sex from me. Although it was great for me, but even I need sleep once in a while.

To answer your question: Yes I believe it is absolutely normal to have a high sex drive now that you are pregnant, but don't think something is wrong the next time you get pregnant that your sex drive is not as strong as the last one. Maybe your drive just might be stronger. Tell your partner to prepare for some sleepless nights.

It is normal, but be prepared, it gets even better.. my sex drive increased greatly as well and the farther along that you get, the better it will become for us lucky enough to get an increased sex drive.
Some women lose their drive due to the hormonal changes that are about to come, thats why I say take advantage while you can. You may wake up one day during the pregnancy and not have that drive for a while.

Totally!! Your hormones are on a rampage... and that can send your sex drive flying (in either direction). When I was pregnant with my son I wanted nothing to do with my husband, but 2 years later when I was pregnant with my twin girls, I wanted it ALL THE TIME. My husband loved it, and so did I !! There's no harm in it (as long as your doc says it's okay), so we did it all the way until I delivered. It was the best 8 months of our bedroom life... Enjoy!!

YES it's totally normal! Just b/c it doesn't happen to every woman doesn't mean it never happens! At this point, I'd say do it all you can, b/c 1) you likely won't want to have sex later in pregnancy (it might get VERY uncomfortable, or you could just be too tired) and 2) you don't get as much once the baby's born!

Yes! Take advantage of it now. That's weird because at 8 weeks pregnant i had the highest sex drive..but for some odd reason now that i am in my 2nd trimester it has all faded away...so enjoy it while it lasts! and hopefully it will!

Yes, your one of the lucky ones. As you get bigger and farther along your sex drive will probably go down. But I heard alot of people say that their sex drive and that sex is even better during pregnancy. Alot of women even have better orgasms, because of the increased blood flow down there.

Yeah it is a very normal thing. Some women just think they look bad so they dont want it. They are turned off by their pregnant body, but when your partner makes you feel pretty then it doesnt bother you and your hormones take over and you want it more.

Pregnancy causes your brain to be alive with crazy amounts of hormones, which could cause your sex drive to increase.
I know when I'm on my period I'm hornier.
Haha.
It's nothing out of the ordinary and it's not harmful to have sex while pregnant, so go for it.
=)
